Accommodation Overview
Barranco Camp is one of Kilimanjaro's most dramatic camps, set below the Barranco Wall with views of cliffs, valleys, and high mountain terrain. It is used on Machame, Lemosho, and related routes after the Lava Tower acclimatization day.
The camp is busy but memorable, and the next stage often begins with the Barranco Wall scramble. It is an important acclimatization and morale point before Karanga and Barafu.
