Accommodation Overview
Crater Camp is a specialist high-altitude camp near Kilimanjaro's crater area, used only on selected itineraries for experienced and well-acclimatized trekkers. It is not suitable for every guest because the altitude is extreme and the margin for error is small.
When used correctly, it creates a rare mountain experience near the summit zone. We recommend it only after careful discussion of fitness, safety, route length, weather, and guide approval.
