Mweka Camp

Mweka Camp is a descent camp used after summit day on Machame, Lemosho, Umbwe, and related routes. It sits lower than high camp, allowing trekkers to recover after the long summit and descent effort.

The camp is usually a relief after the hardest stage of the climb. It supports a final overnight before descending through forest to Mweka Gate for certificates and transfer.
