This Cancellation Policy applies when a traveler cancels a confirmed booking or when a trip cannot proceed as planned.
1. Traveler Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be sent in writing by email or WhatsApp to our official contact details. The cancellation date is the date our team receives the written request.
2. Non-Refundable Costs
Some costs may be non-refundable once paid, including park fees, climbing permits, gorilla or special permits where applicable, domestic flights, certain accommodation deposits, bank fees, card fees, and supplier charges.
3. Cancellation Charges
Cancellation charges depend on the package, travel date, supplier contracts, and services already confirmed. Your invoice or booking confirmation may include trip-specific cancellation terms.
4. Changes Instead of Cancellation
Where possible, we may help move travel dates, change accommodation, adjust the route, or convert payments into future travel credit. Supplier rules may limit what can be changed.
5. Operator Cancellation
If Kilimanjaro Wildclimb Adventures must cancel because of safety concerns or events outside normal control, we will offer a reasonable alternative, future credit, or refund of recoverable amounts after supplier deductions.
