Accommodation Overview
Kibo Hut is a high-altitude staging point below summit night on Marangu and some Rongai-style approaches. Trekkers usually rest here briefly before a midnight departure toward Gilman's Point, Stella Point, and Uhuru Peak.
The accommodation is very simple and the environment is cold, dry, and demanding. Its purpose is logistics and safety before the final summit push rather than comfort.
